The Payne Cave

The Payne Cave

LAP DISTANCE: 9 miles

ELEVATION PER LAP: 700 feet

Returning as the Series Finale, The Payne Cave is another racer favorite. Opened in 2011, the Paynes Creek MTB trail consists of two loops, the Main Trail and Heart Break. Our race course uses both of them! The race course is full of grin-inducing miles of pumpy-and-jumpy machine cut trail. With just minimal climbing and no technical features to slow the momentum, you can indulge your need for speed while drinking in gorgeous views of Lake Hartwell. Bonus: This secluded location has a fantastic campground, which is also the race HQ, so you can camp and race in logistical harmony.
