Shake & Brake Gravel Race

A Chainbuster gravel staple, Shake N Brake has been a part of the gravel series from the beginning. In 2023, this favorite got an update! Now starting from beautiful downtown Piedmont, AL, the route will take you over Dugger Mountain and into the beautiful Talladega National Forest. Along the way 60 mile route, you'll encounter beautiful mountain views, scenic cascading streams, and plenty of rolling hills.
After the race, there will be an amazing post-race party hosted by Shell's Restaurant at The Place Downtown. Trust us, you do not want to miss any part of this amazing weekend!

Camping
Dry camping is available at the Clyde H. Pike Civic Center in Piedmont! You may park overnight with campers, vans or truck campers.
NO TENT CAMPING AVAILABLE. NO FACILITIES OR AMENITIES.
